Olde English Babydoll Southdown Roving
4 oz - I currently only have white available. I'm waiting patiently for the grays to be finished at the mill Please know that even within a given colorway, the color may vary.
Grown and processed in Michigan.
This wool has been raised in Empire, MI and mill-processed in MI and is ready for spinning or needle felting. This breed is a natural "superwash", meaning it does not wet felt easily. The crimp in this wool is remarkable. Bouncy and resilient, full of loft and elasticity, it retains these qualities even with washing. I throw my socks made from this in the washer, then air dry them. The photo of a swatch was thrown in the washer twice and the dryer once. Works great! Most people find this wool quite comfortable to wear against their skin.
Fun and perfect for longdraw spinning.
